1. Observe

   Describe what is available: the situation, its relationships and its history. Keep what is unknown unknown.

2. Anticipate

   Compare possible actions from the same starting point. Record their predicted consequences before acting.

3. Learn

   Execute, measure and compare. Improve the model where reality disagrees with its prediction.
